NY Giants To Shift To Timex

Reasons for NY Giants to shift to Timex :

Reasons for NY Giants to shift to Timex

New York Giants summer camps is the most sought out by soccer fans where they get a chance to get trained by professionals who would have represented the team earlier. The professional foot ball team conducted the annual summer programs since the last 16 years in the University of Albany (UoA) with an exception in 2011 when the venue was locked out.

However as per an announcement last week the summer camps in 2013 would see a shift in the camp venue. NYG summer camp this year would be conducted in Timex Performance Center.

The reason behind this sudden move after such a prolonged relationship kept many thinking over the issue. Nevertheless on his venue change address, Giants President and Chief Executive Officer John Mara and Chairman and Executive Vice President Steve Tisch made a joint statement.

The statement opened up with thanking each and every one of the UoA, who helped their camps a grand success all these years. While informing the changed venue, they also thanked the Timex Performance Center for their kind consideration.

One of the main reasons that could act as a catalyst for this sudden change could be the facilities. In fact the full indoor practice field at the latest venue is a big asset to the team for unhindered practice irrespective of weather conditions. This could have played a key role in supporting the decision.
